Default Barrage Variants

Hello
I've been looking at Barrage/Volley builds for a time now and wanted to get some advice from the Ranger community about how each compare and in what situations they each excel in. So far I've come across...
*Splinter Barrager
*Burning Barrager (with Conjure Flame and Mark of Rodgort)
*Critical Barrager

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Splinter works well anywhere
Burning Barrager works better with - Mark of Rodgort and excels in any place without enchant removal

I keep a firey bow for just this reason. Splinter is nice but conjure fire works on all the arrows from barrage and causes degen with MoR and the burning.

I think its just the first arrow.

A great skill for Barrage is the eotn pve skill Great Dwarf Weapon which not only provides bonus damage to all your arrows but gives each a chance to knock down foes.

The only bad thing is its target other ally so requires someone else to cast it on you ^^

A bit of a weird build I sometimes use is Volley with [skill]Ebon Dust Aura[/skill].

Otherwise BHA or Barrage/Splinter.

It counts for every single one. 100% sure.

Also... [skill]barrage[/skill] and [skill]warmonger's weapon[/skill]

You mean 100% wrong.

It's only the first.

Ah man.. just checked. He's write ^. It definitely used to be all the arrows.

Also... Try multiple r/n Barrage Paininsts all using mark of pain on different ones. Mass Damage!

Been using a Splinter/Volly build for awhile.

Broad Head Arrow [E]
Splinter Weapon
Volly
Nightmare Weapon
Savage Shot
Throw Dirt
Lightning Reflexes
Flesh of My Flesh

12(8+1+3) Marksmanship
13 (12+1) Expertise
10 Channeling Magic

Its pretty fun as your very flexible when things start to change in battle. Mainly lacks healing but thats never been much of an issue, hardly run Troll now because the hero monks always heal me before I finish its 3 second cast. >_<

I see, thanks for all of your advice. I think that I'll try out the mark of rodgort barrage build.
I've snooped around a bit and came up with an idea using Glimmering Mark to keep blind up on enemies- perhaps using Slippery Ground and Shell Shock as well . Has this been tried before?

[skill]Triple Shot[/skill], [skill]Dual Shot[/skill], or [skill]Forked Arrow[/skill] all work better than Barrage for [skill]Mark of Pain[/skill].

@Mister B.

I specifically said that there are multiple barragers with MoP who all target different ones for the hex and each arrow of barrage hits one with MoP giving high AoE dmg.
